Plan Implementation
Once an effective plan design is determined, the next step is implementation. The implementation process includes:
- Preparation of Plan and Trust agreements
- Preparation of Summary Plan Description for participants
- Preparation of plan amendments, as necessary
- Application for determination letter, if required
- Communication of plan benefits to employees and conduct enrollment meeting
- Coordination of the Trustees, Plan Sponsor, Plan Administrator,Investment professionals and others, as required
- Preparation of any required notices which could include “BlackOut” or “Safe Harbor” Notices
