Plan Implementation

Once an effective plan design is determined, the next step is implementation. The implementation process includes:

  • Preparation of Plan and Trust agreements
  • Preparation of Summary Plan Description for participants
  • Preparation of plan amendments, as necessary
  • Application for determination letter, if required
  • Communication of plan benefits to employees and conduct enrollment meeting
  • Coordination of the Trustees, Plan Sponsor, Plan Administrator,Investment professionals and others, as required
  • Preparation of any required notices which could include “BlackOut” or “Safe Harbor” Notices
